負責維修的通力電梯表示，每個月負責手扶梯保養時，都會建議大潤發應該要換什麼零件，排出優先順序再報價，至於是否立即更換就是由大潤發決定，在還沒有發生電梯吃人意外前是民眾發現手扶梯異常，拍下畫面po網，才讓賣場驚覺事情大條要趕快處理。
